Helping others is what makes a community stronger. It is a precious and
gratifying experience. This month, our featured article is all about
reaching out to others, both within the tutor system and beyond.
Do you know the feeling that someone is near you, but you do not see
anyone? Hearing footsteps behind you? Seeing horrible creatures in dark
corners? Avoiding to walk alone through parks at nights?
Then it is time for you to face your fears and laugh into evil's face. The gods have sent the mighty Halloween Hare again to the Tibian lands to help mankind overcome its nightmares.
On October 31, this mighty creature can be found on mainland and
Rookgard and will turn you into some scary creatures to take off your
fear. So, let's get transmuted and twit the evil.
The dark forces are not sleeping either. Once again they are going to
send the most malevolent spirit to spread fear and horror all over the
land. Show your bravery and fight the Mutated Pumpkin, who will be around from October 31 till November 2.
Gather your brothers and sisters in arms, go to the Western parts of
Darashia and send this evil creature back to where it belongs...Who
knows, you might find some nice loot as reward for your courage...
With this year's summer update, a couple of adjustments were made in the
Mutated Pumpkin event. Check our feedback thread for further information.
With today's server save, a few content fixes were implemented besides some website fixes, for example:
•Several small fish locations in Calassa are now reachable to interact with the fish bowl and catch the fish.
•If your character has reached 100 paw and fur points but is not
level 130 yet, you can now accept tasks within your level range up to a
maximum of three times to get boss points and experience.
Furthermore, a couple of minor issues in the Beta Flash client were
fixed. For example: an issue with the distance measurement when sorting
battle list entries was addressed. Also, cooldown times and item counts
are now displayed correctly in action bars. We also fixed a few minor
issues with the NPC trade widget that especially occurred when selling
items.

Halloween is coming and brings with it extremely scary creatures. Entering this climate, we prepared you a list of the creatures that possibly will be around there haunting all Tibians. To avoid the mischief of these monsters, TibiaSpace proposes for the braves warriors a fun hunt to these monsters. Are you interested? It's really simple: Just choose one creature in the list below and prepare yourself to the combat! Choose five items that exist in the game that you judge indispensable to the duel against this creature, justify all of your choices, gather the items in RL (you can confection or use items already made) and take photos of the items to show us that you are ready for the Halloween!

Rules:
- The participant must choose only 1 of the creatures available in the list.
- The participant must inform the 5 items that would use to hunt the chosen creature. ATTENTION: The participant can choose any items, whereas they are available in the game. This is weapons, equipments, accessories, liquids, decorating items etc. It's not allowed to create items!
- The participant must justify the choice of the creature and the choice of each item. Long justifications should be avoided.
- The participant must write in Portuguese or English.
- The participant can choose between confectioning the chosen items or use something already made.
- The participant must post one photo of eachitem and one of all items together. In other words, 6 photos in total. In the photo that appears the 5 items together, the participant must show a paper with the phrase "Season of Hunting - TibiaSpace".
- The contest ends on 11/06/2011, at 19:00 (GMT-02:00). We won't accept any work after this date.
- We won't accept edited photos. In other words, don't use image-editor programs.
- The participant must have a registered account in TibiaSpace.com. If the participant wins, the awards will be delivered for the character registered on the site.
- It isn't allowed to use more than one registration to participate to the contest.
- It isn't allowed to participate of the contest with a character from Rookguard.
Participants who violate the rules will be disqualified from the competition.
Today, a small patch has been released. As we announced yesterday, we have implemented the new tutor system.
You can now receive "Thank you!'s" from other players for helpful posts
and statements. If you reach a certain amount of "Thank you!'s" within a
specific timeframe and fulfill some minor requirements, you will
automatically become a tutor. Want to know more? Check the tutor guide for further information on the new system.
Furthermore, the Beta Flash client has been updated to Flash Player
plugin version 11.0. In addition, we also fixed a couple of minor bugs
and issues in the Beta Flash client. Just to name two examples: the size
of the container widget does not change unexpectedly anymore when
dragging the widget or opening another container. Also, the "Click to
activate" message has been moved to the top half of the window so that
it does not hide the content of client messages anymore.
The patch will download automatically when you log into the game. You can also download the new stand-alone client version 9.31 from our download section.
During the last months, we were working on the development of a new tutor
system to foster the gratifying experience of helping others and
encourage players to lend a helping hand and share their knowledge.
In order to implement the new system, the server save of all game worlds
will take approximately one hour longer tomorrow, October 20, and the
website will be temporarily offline during that time as well.
The main feature of the new system is the possibility to receive a
"Thank you!" from other players for helpful posts and statements. If you
fulfill some minor requirements and reach a certain amount of "Thank
you!'s" within a specific timeframe, you will automatically become a
tutor.
Appointed tutors can still receive "Thank you!'s", of course. The more
"Thank you!'s" a tutor has received, the more stars will be displayed
below the tutor's name in forum posts if you choose to show your tutor
status.
Where to get "Thank you!'s"? As soon as the patch has been released, you
can find the details about the new system and the role of tutors in the
tutor guide. So make sure to check the updated version after tomorrow's
downtime.
All current tutors will be incorporated into the new tutor system. There
will be no senior tutor rank anymore but the old senior tutors will
receive 2 stars for their previous work instead of one which tutors
receive.
Got your hands on a shadow draptor mount last week? After evaluating all
the feedback we got on our special offer, the decision was made to also
give the shadow draptor to those players who ordered a unit of 180 or
360 days of premium time on our website via bank transfer or element 5
until October 13, 23:59 CEST.
In the course of a week, you will be able to assign the mount to one of

Time to do some
stomping! Get your feet ready for the Annual Autumn Vintage taking place from
October 01-07, and again from October 15-21.
The Combined Magical Winterberry Society wants
YOU to get active. Help them gathering and squishing winterberries to produce a
delicate juice in order to refine some potions. During the event, winterberries
can be looted from various monsters. Get your hands on those berries, and then
find your nearest berry stomping assistant to get transported to a secret
location.
As soon as enough winterberries have been delivered it is up to you to show
your treading skills. Besides stomping, you may need to add some sugar or water
sometimes, or even have to deal with the berrypest to complete the whole
treading process. If you need any further information there, ask Gruffy, an
experienced member of the Combined Magical Winterberry Society.
Your world will succeed if enough loads of winterberries have been tread to
produce enough juice to temporarily refine all health and mana potions of your
world. Their effect will be enhanced by 33% for 7 days.
